Pass the enriched data to an OpenAI node with a prompt like:
"Based on this lead's data, assign a score from 1-10 and a tier (Hot/Warm/Cold) based on their fit for a B2B AI automation service targeting companies with 10-200 employees. Respond in JSON."
The AI returns a structured score you can use in the next steps.
Step 4: HubSpot Integration
Use n8n's HubSpot node to:
- Search for existing contact (avoid duplicates)
- Create a new contact or update the existing one
- Set the deal stage based on AI score
- Add tags, notes, and source data
If the score is 8+, also create a Deal in HubSpot to trigger your sales pipeline.
Step 5: Email Sequences
Based on the lead tier:
- Hot (8-10): Immediate personalized email + Calendly link + Slack alert to team
- Warm (5-7): Enter drip campaign — 3 emails over 7 days
- Cold (1-4): Add to nurture list, send monthly newsletter, revisit in 30 days
Use Gmail or SendGrid nodes to send, and n8n's Execute Workflow node to schedule follow-ups.
Step 6: Slack Notification
For hot leads, send an instant Slack message to your sales channel:
